1989 Vern releases the concept album Alone featuring his third
#1 Hit Im Still Crazy which he wrote with his son Steve and Nashville producer Buddy Cannon.

Aug 5, 1934 Vernon Gosdin is born in Woodland, Alabama, son of Zuma Alice Snyder & Royles David Gosdin, also the sixth of nine siblings.
1961 Vern & Rex move to the California Coast and join a Bluegrass oufit called
The Golden State Boys.
1983 At the age of 48, The Voice hits No. 1
on the Billboard Hot Country charts with
I Can Tell By The Way You Dance.
